Taurine is an amino acid essential for cats. It acts in the body for the regulation of cholesterol, the formation of bile salt and retinal functions. Its deficiency can cause various metabolic disorders and retinal degeneration in the body. It can be excreted from the body with urine and feces, as well as with milk, especially during lactation period. In cats, Taurine cannot be synthesized in the body and must be supplemented with food from the outside. In the Vitamin B group, B1-B2-B6-B12 vitamins are found in the formulation. Zoovital Taurine is a complementary feed product.
